It was 10 years ago Jill Barber had returned from an intensive French immersion school in the south of France and recorded an album of classic French songs ranging from Edith Piaf to Serge Gainsbourg. 

Fast forward a decade, and that album Chansons has been streamed over 110 Million times and is currently on its 4th vinyl pressing. The album brought Jill around the world playing France, Austria, Japan, Mexico, as well as jazz festivals across Canada. To celebrate the anniversary of this pivotal record, Jill once again collaborated with the Grammy Award nominated producer Drew Jurecka to record the follow up, ENCORE! 

ENCORE! marks a return to Jill and a magical band offering up reimagined versions of memorable French classics including songs from Blossom Dearie, Robert Charlesbois, Charles Trenet as well as another Piaf classic.

The album will launch in late winter 2024 with a June release date. English Canadian PR handled by Killbeat Music and Quebec Media with Six Media. 

Jill is a 3 time Juno Award nominee and the Sirius/XM Jazz Artist of the Year. Along with multiple regional awards and a Polaris Prize nomination, her album Chances was certified Gold, with her albums having been streamed over 200 million times around the world.
